Hill Slope Entrance At Cranberry Iron Mine

Looking through the bat gate into one of the Hill Slope entrances you can see all the rock and dirt that has filled this tunnel over the past 90 years. This inclined shaft was once tall enough for people and mine cars to work out of. It looks to be about 3-4' deep now. In the summer you can feel cool air coming up out of the opening.
