Johnson City

John and I drove to Johnson City the first week in February to deliver the finished files of his new book to the publisher, Overmountain Press. It's available here. We were greeted by 4 inches of snow. We were in 2 cars totally suited for driving in snow. Not! Never seen JCity in snow, but then, I've never been there in the winter. Luckily, it left the roads by the next morning. Sure was pretty though. Makes it possible to see parts of the old railroad that can't be seen in other times of the year. The snow really points out the old ROW like nothing else can.
