Group Shot at the Doe River Gorge Ministries

The passengers on the "S.S. Minnow" had nothing on this crew, as they bravely prepared to enter the Doe River Gorge. Why no one would stand next to me in the group photo, I'll never know. The director of the camp shot the photo for us.

It was a perfect day for hiking in the Gorge, not too hot or humid. Plus, we were going to get to ride part way into the gorge on two "Spat" cars, or speeders, a first for this group. The Doe River Christian Camp really has done an outstanding job with the cosmetics of the Gorge entrance, their camp facilities and with the structure of the track. Ken Riddle is presently restoring the engine behind us.
