Old CC&O Office Building in Johnson City

Here's the original entrance to the old CC&O offices in the Carnegie section of Johnson City. I'm standing inside a connector building between the old and new buildings, but this is where Centre Street used to run. It is in now inside the Empire/Vaughn Manufacturing building. I would say this is a pretty elaborate entrance for an office building. Here's the bottom of the elaborate arched brickwork, an equally elaborate carved stone block. It's a shame all this is now hidden away, although the owners seemed to take some pride in the historical part of the old building.
