ET&WNC Railroad Bridge Abutment over the Toe River

One of the more typical bridge abutments used by the railroad. This was for a 32 foot half thru plate girder bridge on the Toe River between Montezuma and Newland. There was originally another abutment on this side, but road improvements forced its removal.
