Wooden Covered Auto Bridge in Elizabethton

The metal hardware holding this bridge together is the same as was used in the wooden covered thru bridge at Hampton and in the large, 3-span covered deck bridge at tunnel 1. An interesting photo I've seen shows all the metal hardware piled at the end of the large deck bridge when they dismantled it in the very early 1950s after the abandonment of the railroad.
