Group Photo in the Doe River Gorge

Ok, here's a shot of some who walked the gorge in 1992. That's me that you don't see shooting the picture. And there's the Smiths, and the Browns, and the Jobuschs, an Anderson and a Graybeal, and some other folks who's names escape me, although I believe the gentleman on the right owned Arkansas Scale Models. Someone correct me here.

This is Pardee Point looking back toward Hampton. Compare the background of this photo to some taken at Pardee Point in "The Blue Ridge Stemwinder" and other books on the ET&WNC. Except for the abundance of trees, it looks remarkably the same. The Doe River Ministries has since done an excellent job of cleaning and keeping clean the right-of-way. It's now more like it was when the railroad was operating.
