Big Retaining Wall in the Doe River Gorge

This is the much photographed retaining wall before you get to Pardee Point. Compare this to later photos, the camp has really cleaned the right-of-way, and kept it cleared. The big sinkhole in the ballast was yet to be filled. But their maintenance kept it from becoming a much bigger problem for this section of track.
