Cranberry Iron Mine Scrap

It's unusual to find intact manufacturers labels on discarded equipment, so I had to check this one out. The patent number leads back to times when the original mine would have been going out of business, so I suspect this "texrope drive" wheel was from the 60s operation and just got overlooked when Elizabethton Herb & Metal recycled most of the scrap at this site.
