Deck Bridge in the Doe River Gorge

This is one of the "feet" of the bridge, where vertical and angled truss beams come together with angled truss rods and are subsequently bolted to the abutment. Some rust showing here, but it seems to be on a thin section of the vertical beam. Everything else seems to be holding up very well for a bridge that's about 120 years old and has had no maintenance for well over 50 years.
