Greer Fill on State Line Hill

This is the stone abutment on the west side of Greer Fill. This dates back to when the fill was still a wooden trestle. After the trestle was filled with rock this abutment would have been buried and gone. Except that the fill was removed after the railroad was gone. We ran across this abutment on our visit to the site this year.
