State Line Hill
This may not look like much of a photo... and it's
not. But it's the first time I've ever run across what I think
was originally a cattle guard. This was on a clear place in the
middle of a large fill on State Line Hill. There were what appeared
to be 2 small concrete abutments that I assume at one time had
some sort of bars or rails between them to keep cattle from crossing,
similar to what you would see now on a farm road. When the cattle
guard was no longer needed it was just filled in with ballast.
These were about 6 feet apart. Would make an interesting detail
for your layout of the ET. |
