Getting close to Bemberg and about to cross the Buffalo Creek bridge, a 3-span steel deck girder structure. Just a short ways down the track is where the switch for the sand spur used to be until about 1930. I got the worst case of chiggers I've ever had while waiting right here to get a photo of the train crossing this bridge several years back. Not sure it was worth it. East Tennessee chiggers are not to be taken lightly.
