Scenic Drive up to Roan Mountain

A chilly fall day on the way to the top of Roan Mountain there's not a cloud in the sky and the views are spectacular. Looking north I think that's the town of Roan Mountain in the distant center of the photo. John Waite and I took his convertible to the top of the mountain and got sunburned for the effort.
