Johnson City Enginehouse Interior

Impressive is the word of the day for this rare tour of the old ET&WNC enginehouse in Johnson City. I don't think this structure has changed much inside over the years except for the clerestory roof being removed. Everything had such a wonderful color and patina that only time, steam and grease can produce. We're looking toward the back of the building in this photo. The blacksmith area is on the back right. The overhead pulley drive is on the left.
