Steel Deck Bridge in the Doe River Gorge
Looking up the line toward Blevins from the upper end of the Doe River Gorge. This is the beautiful deck bridge that leads immediately into tunnel 4 then quickly again through a steel thru truss bridge on the other side. This is another second-hand standard gauge bridge that the ET&WNC used to replace the wood bridges that were washed out in the 1901 flood. |
